manufacturing facilities are located strategically across the country
to serve your gas piping needs. We also offer a complete line of butt
and socket fittings, giving our customers everything necessary for
their applications. Electrofusion: We
offer an electrofusion systems for all your polyethlyene gas pipe applications.
The electrofusion processor allows the operator to view instructions on
a large two line text. The unit has been designed to simplify use
for the operator. HDPE Electrofusion couplings, saddles, repair
patches, and transition fittings are available through 24" in IPS, DIPS,
and metric sizes. We offer the largest fully pressure rated O.D.
electrofusion couplings available in the world. We also offer
three mechanical scrapper tool sets from 1/2" diameter through 24" to
prepare the hdpe pipe for the fusion process. Polyethylene Valves: IFP, Inc.offers polyethylene ball valves for gas service in both high and medium
density polyethylene pipe. Our polyvalves have proven their superior
characteristics, particularly for the endurance of valve seals and stem
design. As a result, our valve has become the "valve of choice" with
many U.S. and European gas companies. The valve is operated with
just 1/4 turn and valve pipe ends are extra long for butt, socket,
and electrofusion installations. The valves are available in a size
range from 1 1/4" IPS through 8". When the ball is in the closed position,
the gas pipe pressure helps maximize the seating by forcing the ball against
the downstream seal for a tight, leak proof seal. Further, a the
uniquely designed compression stem seal effectively eliminates any leakage. These
polyethylene ball valves meet or exceed all ANSI B-16.40, ASTM D2513,
DOT part 192, and are produced in accordance with ISO 9002, a total quality
